Learning at Convenerra4
We offer structured sessions for primary and secondary schools, colleges, and youth groups. Programmes are designed to support the curriculum and local history studies, using objects, documents, and discussion to explore the home front experience.
What we offer
Sessions can focus on evacuation, the Blitz, rationing, women at war, or life in a typical British household. We use primary sources where possible and encourage questioning and reflection. Workshops can be tailored to your group’s age and prior learning.
Resources and booking
Teachers can access supporting materials for use before and after a visit. Booking in advance is essential for school groups. For details and availability, see our visit and contact page or return to the education section on the homepage.
