About Convenerra4

Heritage interpretation and wartime storytelling

Our story

Convenerra4 sits at the heart of the Home Front Museum initiative: a space where local heritage, wartime Britain, and community remembrance meet. We focus on interpretation that speaks to both the head and the heart—preserving stories, objects, and voices so that future generations can understand what life was like on the home front.

Our work spans exhibitions, education, and digital archives, with a strong emphasis on authenticity and accessibility. Whether you are a school group, a researcher, or a visitor with a personal connection to the period, we aim to offer something meaningful.

What we do

We run exhibitions that draw on authentic artefacts and personal testimonies; educational programmes for schools and colleges; a digital archive for remote access to selected holdings; and we collect and share community stories. Throughout the year we host events and talks, and we support research and publications.
